Alpine Blue is a cream blue that is a more subtle lighter blue with just a hint of gray, like a blue ice in Opal. It would be best as a complimentary color as it will not take over your artwork.  Coarse glass frit is often fired as individual pieces to create glass pebbles or combined with other colors of coarse frit and fired in a kiln to create fused glass mosaic art.
