Mica and Pearlescent Lusters For Glass Fusing

Adding Sparkle to your glass when kiln firing or Flamework provides is a softer appear compared to Dichroic glass.  It can be more precisely apply and you can re-fire and apply layers without adding thickness to the finish glass dimensions.   There is a Difference between between these  two metallic lusters, Mica Powders and Pearlescent Interference Colors, even though both can be applied using powder sifters:

Mica Powders are a thin layer of metal

Pearlescent Interference Lusters are an Iridescent powder application in a mixture of fine Mica and Titanium powders that will color shift.

Both forms of metallic applications to your fusible glass are powders and require you to wear a mask during use.
