Eco Friendly Goals

GoFusing.com is part of the A Sanborn Corporation. For our 10 year anniversary, June of 2010, we celebrated by do something for our future and future generations to come.  So we went green and have taken big steps to become an earth friendly corporation! We can't wait to tell you all about it!

Our sister company, Sanbornwebdesigns.com (where we host many of our Glass Artists client's websites) took the first giant step for our company by setting up new servers that are over one third more energy efficient.

Go Fusing continues to take steps to contribute and has converted product packaging and almost all shipping to bio-degradable materials. Most companies use the least expensive, polyethylene film zip lock bags which are petroleum based product and can take from 10 to 100 years to decompose!

We are using an Eco Clear Bag which is compostable and a sustainable alternative to traditional packaging!

These Clear Bags use EarthFirst® PLA film from Ingeo® that is certified compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) and DIN Certco under ASTM 6400 and EN 13432.

For over 14 years Go Fusing has used USPS Recycled corrugated shipping boxes. They are are made from 100% post consumer recycled materials and are also recyclable.
We also use Click-N-Ship and 1st class mail so we do not have to make special trips to the post office or need other carriers. Since the postal delivery person comes to our offices and your homes already, they bring eco-friendly boxes & envelopes & takes the shipments at the same time!
